Anna Cantor is a goldsmith and jewelry designer based in New York City.  She grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and attended the Atlanta College of Art where she earned her BFA in painting.  Anna moved to NYC in 1998 and quickly found herself immersed in the colorful creative spirit of downtown Manhattan. As a continuation of her art studies, Anna worked for jewelry designer, Caroline Ellen, as an apprentice goldsmith where she trained and worked for over a decade in classical jewelry techniques.

Anna’s art and design practice has taken on many manifestations over the years, including painting, installation and photography. More recently, she has focused on wax carving, a hands-on sculptural process of designing jewelry. She strives to create timeless heirloom pieces— casually elegant jewelry that looks perfect with a t-shirt and jeans. Her shapes are inspired by the mindful process in which they are made and are meant to be a celebration of the beauty of the natural materials used : gold, silver and the occasional gemstone.

Anna crafts each piece by hand in her Brooklyn studio.  She is happy to help you with a custom project. Please email with any inquiries .. studio@arcnyc.co
